Holding a PhD in Environmental Journalism from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, Nik Norma Nik Hasan is currently affiliated to USM School of Communication as a lecturer. Her areas of interest are: Science and Environmental Journalism and Environmental Risk Communication. Her interests have taken her toward researching environmental issues in media, as well as ethical aspects of environmental newswriting.
